OSOR
Na mjestu gdje su se otok Lošinj i Cres najviše priljubili smjestio se gradić koji je u antička vremena doživio svoj trenutak slave. Temelji gradskih zidina otkrivaju drevnu povijest čiji tragovi sežu u pretpovijest do 9.st. prije Krista.Antički gradski trg na kojemu se nalaze prekrasne zgrade iz 15. i 16. st. Gradska vijećnica s natkrivenom ložom (danas Gradski muzej) biskupska palača te velebna katedrala sa zvonikom sačinjavaju povijesnu jezgru grada. Cijeli je grad zapravo muzej na otvorenom čiji vrtovi i parkovi kriju tragove antičkih vila, renesansnih portala i samostana.

Die Verbindung zwischen den Inseln Losinj und Cres wird gebildet von einem kleinen Städtchen, das seine Blütezeit in der Antike erlebte. Wir sind in Osor. Das Fundament der Stadtmauer stammt aus dem 9. Jh.v. Chr. Den historischen Kern der Stadt bildet der Marktplatz, auf dem sich wunderschöne Gebäude aus dem 15. und 16 Jh. befinden, das Rathaus mit überdachter Loge (heute Stadtmuseum), der Bischofspalast, sowie die prachtvolle Kathedrale mit ihrem Glockenturm. Man könnte die ganze Stadt Osor als Museum im Freien bezeichnen, in dem die verschiedenen Epochen ihre Spuren hinterlassen haben.

Nel punto d'incontro delle isole di Cherso e Lussino è situata l'antica cittadina di Ossero che ha vissuto il suo momento di gloria, quando era il principale centro delle isole. Le sue origini risalgono alla protostoria, come è rilevabile dalle fondamenta delle prime mura databili al 9. secolo a.C. Il centro storico che comprende edifici del 15. e 16. secolo è raccolto attorno al vecchio foro sul quale si affaccuano il Palazzo municipale il Palazzo del vescovado, la Cattedrale con campanile e la Loggia coperta a volta che è diventata un museo. Ma tutta l'area dell'abitato si presenta come um museo all'aperto per le rovine delle sue antiche mura i resti di remoti ville romane e conventi.

This little town is situated on the spot where the islands of Cres and Lošinj are closest to each other. It had its period of glory in ancients time. The foundations of the town walls hide traces of ancient history, dating as far back as the 9th century B.C.
The antique town square with beautiful buildings from the 15th and 16th century, the Town Hall with a loggia the Bishop's Palace and the impressive Cathedral with a campanile make up the historical heart of the town. The whole of the town is an open-air museum showing its cultural and political history.

Kjer se Lošinj in Cres najbolj približata, je zraslo mestece, ki se je proslavilo že v antiki. Njegova preteklost sega v 9. stoletje pred našim štetjem. Antični mestni trg krasijo zgradbe iz 15. i 16. stoletja, mestna palača z nadkrito ložo pa je danesmuzej, ki skupaj s katedralnim zvonikom tvori zgodovinsko mestno jedro. Podoba mesta v vsej svoji lepoti je pravzaprav muzej na odprtem in priča o kulturni in politični preteklosti kraja.
